So this is the first picture I have posted... after a year of blogging! (Jared just told me how to do it.)
But how do I test it? And what picture is worthy of my first post?
And then I thought... "What's a more appropriate picture to post this time of year than one of Santa's helpers?"

I'm not sure how comfortable I am with an anonymous blog stranger saying "damn she's sweet" about my infant daughter... but... she is!
And I only WISH I took that photo. The picture was taken by a friend of mine (who is also happens to be the photographer for OU) and is one of my photography heroes. Check him out. Wouldn't you love to take pictures like that?

yeah, r is me. I refuse to sign up for any more accounts with passwords and usernames just to leave messages on friends' sites.
rick's current photographic is just like mine. if I had the resources (ahem, university or institute backing) I'm sure I could rock the faculty like he seems to do :)
