I still remember it. But ask me again tomorrow and maybe I won't. Then again, I was studying the ad. (Actually, I just thought it was strange that there was a TV ad for leather. Some demographics differ from the Midwest, I guess.)
i remember the product name, but i suppose that's the marketing major in me. if there is differentiation, it's probably not what they're going for -- "you'll look hot but get advances from possibly creepy guys"?
I still remember that the ad is for a leather coat brand, and I know it's kind of a long name and maybe starts with an L. I'm going to post this now and see if I was right. I watch the video last night.
Okay, close. Leather starts with an L, but that is part of the name. I would have remembered the typographical treatment of the name, if I would have run across it in a department store. The other consideration is that this ad is not meant to stand alone. It's likely part of other marketing efforts, that taken together over time may produce better brand memory.
I did remember the brand name, but only because the video clip was labeled as such. I don't remember noticing a reference to the brand name within the commercial.

i wondered where this was going...
nice payoff.
Yea, it's the last second of the clip that makes it for me. It's one of those.... "wait for it..." kind of moments.
with this said, I guess it's not a great ad as you don't remember the product name and it doesn't differentiate your brand from others.
