Why your camera doesn't matter

For my photography friends... just an article I found interesting.

i always love telling people that the shots around my apartment were taken with a regular old point-and-shoot 35mm minolta.

the new digicam lets me upload much quicker [and cheaper, of course]... but other than the macro feature, it's all really the same. it LOOKS like my photo shooting is better, but really it's just that i can delete all the crappy ones. of which there are many.

oh, um, good article.

That's an excellent truth that I often forget - or at least I put it aside as I search out the next latest, greatest tool. Do I really believe that the tool will make my work better? Well, sometimes, but mostly I just like to play with new toys!
