Break

So I'm on a study break/sabbatical of sorts. It's impossible to do what I need to do as I can't leave the house... and it is way too noisy here to work. So I have no idea how this will work out. But I'm going to take some time away from the computer and email... and yes... even blogging and checking blogs. I say that, but I might use my blog to work on sermon stuff... as I have done in the past. But for now... I'm taking a bit of a break.

But you can offer me a sabbatical gift.

Okay?

I know a lot of people read this thing. Many of you email me. So, for my present, you can all post and just say "Hi, I actually read this once in a while."

Now, I know you won't. I have found that when I ask people to post, they never do... but I thought I would try this... I would love to know how many people read this thing.

So, stop by and just say hi.

And for you... just something to remember me by as I take a break. Enjoy.

Hi Paul,
I do read your blog every now and again. When I'm missing Athens it's you and Mdog that I visit, but I don't always say 'hi'. So... Hi! : )
Enjoy the sabbatical

I read your blog Paul. Not super faithfully - but I usually catch up on it all. :) (And I know that you hate people who read blogs and never comment... there is even a special name that elludes me right now.) So hopefully this makes up just reading and not commenting before!

I read your blog, Paul. But you probably knew that. I hope you are able to find the quiet you need during your sabbatical.

i never read this thing.

you can crutch it on over here during the day if you need some quiet... that's pretty much the name of the game over here.

YOU KNOW WHERE I LIVE

I sort of read your blog. I read the things you type but I never click on unexplained links so unfortunately that eliminates me understanding many of your posts. Have a relaxing break.

"Hi, I actually read this once in a while." I think that is what you asked us to say.

You have a blog?! No way! Now how did I miss that?

I read it. I rss feed it actually. I'll try to post more...although you're taking a blogger sabbatical so I can't. What poor timing. :0)

On days that I read I visit your blog.

According to Mirriam Webster a sabbatical is : a break or change from a normal routine. Does this still apply if forced?

You should make bumper stickers that say: I read bloggingpaul!
I would get one. Don't know where I'd put it as that I don't have a car, but I'd get it, and it'd be true.

I read the "blogging paul" sorry I never comment, I never have anything insightful to say while I'm at work, or anytime for that matter. But I enjoy reading about your insights.

Happy Sabbatical,
I read your blog. But you know this because I recently emailed you.

I like your blog but I don't read it every day but at least once a week!

hello paul, i read your blog pretty often. it is great. i hope you are enjoying your sabbatical. i am sorry to say that i don't usually comment. but then again, i am not sure you know who i am so that is my lame excuse. i went to central from 2002-2006, and once in 2006 i came to talk to you. i am friends with liz. anyway, i like to read your blog. so way to be.

Paul - I read your blog :) But I don't think I have ever posted a comment on someone else's blog! Your sabatical has been educational for me. How are you anyways?

I feel privileged to be #30. I usually read yours and mdog's blogs to keep up on Central, Athens and friends. I am one of those annoying people who usually read and move on without making comments. Sorry! I hope you are doing well. Being up in Toledo makes me miss all of you even more. Central is a great home of worship! Take care and enjoy your sabbatical!

Just wanted to let you know, Paul, I semi-consistantly read your blog....after Jennifer's and Jared's....Do you understand what Einstein meant when he said, " I love to travel, but hate to arrive"?.....Valor

I always read... I even have stayed updated on the new comments through this sabbatical. I do miss the updates though. I am sure you know who I am however any time I have visited Athens and caught a glimpse of you, I have convinced myself that you would not know me. You have a lot of students in and out of there and I am sure it is hard to remember every face. Thank you for your kind words on my blog. I hope your break is good and that your leg/knee heals well.
