I am devoting my life to hopefully be part of the solutions to these problems that Annie has presented. This is why I am in graduate school.
I have created a gigantic response which can be found at my blog here so I don't take up your whole comment wall and so I can tell my daily readers about this too.
I agree and disagree. She could've summarized it in 3 or 4 minutes, or just said: BUY LESS STUFF! BLAME THE DOWNFALL OF OUR WORLD ON STUFF! And it would've saved me 19.999999 minutes.
I really like this - it is also posted on my blog. I think it needed to be long to fully help uninformed people understand the process and where and how we can change it.
