Today I went for a bike ride just to ride. I took Lemaster down to the bike path and then around to the Eclipse town. The significant thing is that I make it up first street hill...
Let me add that first street hill isn't a major deal for real bikers... but for me, it was my first milestone. I'm biking to Nelsonville tomorrow.

I went on a bike ride just to ride on Saturday. Okay, so part of the fun was who I was riding with. Anyway, it rained, it poured, and it was a blast to ride through the rain and not care. When do adults stop thinking it's fun to play in puddles? I hope that never happens to me.
Paul, I'm glad you went on a bike ride just to ride :) I'm glad it's become that fun for you already. I don't know first street hill, so I can't give you the proper applause, but great job on tackling a hill while out riding for fun.

Paul, you ARE a real cyclist. You've probably already put more mileage on your bike recently than the average person does in years. And most people would never even consider biking to work.
You're biking to Nelsonville tomorrow?? That's awesome! I have a feeling that if I don't watch out, you will quickly surpass me in mileage. :)
