The one

I find this a very interesting ad on multiple levels. Anyone want to guess why?

four years made me forget how creepy politics can be. this year i'm reminded how low candidates will go for votes - and how, sadly, millions of people will believe the bs.

sometimes i'm just so disappointed in my fellow americans... and in my fellow christians. *sigh*

There is "interesting," and there is "crackpot." But hey... we elected George W. Bush... twice!

So we shouldn't vote for Obama because he's like Moses? That's almost as silly as McCain's ads telling us not to vote for Obama because he's too popular. Yeah, who would vote for the most popular candidate anyway? I honestly thought this was an ad for Obama (albeit in poor taste).

Just read Tony's remarks. I've never read Left Behind, so I guess I didn't get the reference.

In defense of the other guy, its not a kissing match its the campaign for the most powerful position in the free world and in the free world there is freedom of speech.

I'm sorry... WHAT????

Andrew, you know I love you... you know that I allow all kinds of comments on this blog...but I'm not letting this go.

This has nothing to do with qualifications or free speech. This has to do with a lack of integrity, fear and stupidity. I'm sorry, I believe that people (and Christians) can vote for either candidate. I think there are strengths of each. I think a good argument can be made for either McCain or Obama.

But this ad is stupid. It is an insult to my intelligence. It's childish. And it is way beneath what I expect from someone running for the "most powerful position in the free world."

(And note: it is my understanding the ad was pulled after running only once. Because people thought it was stupid.)
