This is such a real moment. On one level there is the palpable humor, mom and dad trying to control themselves but having a case of the giggles. A silly, overdramatic funeral in the family toilet. Mom and dad not really paying attention, not really listening. On another level, the little girl is taking it very seriously and doesn't really understand what is going on with her parents. Though you may be above your little one's hurt, it is important to come down to their level. This gave me lots to ponder on.
It is intersting because Lydia is asking a lot about death right now. Her goldfish died as well... so we burried it. It is intersting to watch her struggle with it...
Intersting. Don't leave your fish with me. I'm a "Fish Killer" I can't keep a fish alive for anything. It's sad. Greg is into fish right now, Mike not so much.
