Ahhh sheesh.....This is a time when I am a bit embarrassed to admit I am not only part of the media but a proud American. Being in South Africa, I get a unique perspective of how rediculous the western media and politics can sometimes be for I am more of an outsider looking in. it is often similar to watching a late night drama. It just does not seem like reality. We have Mugabe in the midst of a civil war, China's leaders violating human rights, and South Africa having the possibility of a convicted criminal becoming their next president. All of this is happening and two grown educated, socially trained adult politicians cannot play nice, and the American media cannot find anything else on which to report.....Do "time outs" work for adults? if so, I think we need to find a way to implement time outs when politicians cannot play nice with one another.

yep. i saw this in my RSS and promptly hit "delete".
:-P poo on politicians who resort to this game AND the media that feeds them.
PS the irony of the headline was not lost on me. :)
